Welcome

Welcome to Grand International School website. This site will provide you an overview of who we are and what we do.
GIS has been a beacon in the field of education in Angola. It is the pioneer in bringing British and French International Curricula in one school programme in the country. The school is an ideal environment where learners develop a clear understanding of multicultural and multiracial diversity. GIS inspires, motivates, and encourages young minds to be globally competitive as we prepare them to face the challenges of the 21st Century. And to introduce you to more innovative systems in the future, we invite you to navigate this page further so you can discover our special programmes.

Believing in a better and more educated generation, for a brilliant future of our continent, it is our social and academic obligation to share our part of this responsibility. It is also our sincere objective to make this happen. GIS is the fruit of a big basket of plans to develop our Levels of Education. This defines our vision to manifest our aim and to show how we can participate in the enhancement of the country in this particular venture. Seeking and introducing high standard level of knowledge and expertise, we have chosen to present two of the best Curricula in the world – Cambridge and Diplome Francais into our Educational Programmes. The inclusion of co – curricular subjects (Physical Education, Art & Design, Music, Digital Literacy, Portuguese) all contribute to build a future for our learners, that would make them globally competitive and fully equipped to make positive changes. Our maxim, “It all starts here…” definitely makes a difference.
